Grass posibilities...

Types of Grass.
The availability of different grasses will of course depend upon the geographical location of the garden. One popular American strain is Bermuda grass which thrives in dry conditions, though is likely to take over if not trimmed regularly. Carpet Grass and Bahia Grass are also viable alternatives and can be seeded or sodded, though the attention to detail when sodding is essential. In dry areas where the soil has been damaged, and there is unlikely to be much rain, to enable the sods to settle without shrinking leaving ugly seams, these need to be laid and overlapped
