Market sketch.

I was thinking that you start the area off with a modest small structure. This incorporates a bar/ cafe as we have seen throughout other plazas in madrid. This cafe/ bar is open throughout the day and night, therefore can be used by visitors to the site, people using the sports courts who need a drink or a bite to eat, and people who are working at the education centre. There is a larger space within the same building. that can be divided up and leased to people during the day and night to sell goods or to play music ect. this it able to be divided as the particians can be retracted which opens up a wider blank space that can then be used to exhibit films (visual arts centre), performance (schools, hold community meetings and debates ect.

As the market and employment scheme grows singular "pod structures can be arranged flowing outwards from this site. this allows the market to grow into the space organically and create walkways, and means the market is not as rigid.

let me know thoughts.
