this is how the glow material comes, either in a resin, or pellets. what happens is that it is heated and can then be put through manufacturing process. I know for a fact it can be rotational moulded- which maybe good for us as you can get fairly bulbous rounded forms. or i would imagine it can be injection, or blow moulded also as the material would be similar to plastic used in those processes. All of these manufacturing processes would be fairly cheap which would combat the price of the resin itself- and also the amount of money saved on electricity for the lighting would be large also. I do not think these would be able to illuminate the entire site like spot lights, street lights- but i do think they will be good at creating an atmosphere and lighting paths, and certain areas. also the range of colours will look quite visually stimulating.
